Learning beyond Culture:
Reports from the field on Intercultural Communicative Competence through
telecollaboration and foreign language learning

We are inviting chapter contributions to an online double blind peer reviewed
publication on Learning beyond Culture, Intercultural Communicative Competence
(ICC), Telecollaboration, and Foreign Language (FL) Learning. These Reports
from the Field can include descriptions and results of classroom
action-research, best practices, and lessons for instructional design.

The purpose of this publication is essentially to support teachers in higher
education who are concerned about the development of ICC in their students and
colleagues.

Aiming to support plurilingualism in our contributing authors, the publication
welcomes proposals written in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Please note,
however, that the object of study is not limited to any particular languages.
The target readers are teachers and researchers as well as creators of
instructional design and materials in Higher Education.

The team of peer reviewers will be composed of the contributing authors and
the editors. Please note that, when you submit a chapter proposal, you assume
responsibility to participate in the peer review process as a member of this
multicompetent team from December 2017 through February 2018.

We look forward to receiving your chapter drafts and working with you on this
important project. Feel free to contact us at ICCvolume.recles.pt at gmail.com.

See below for submission guidelines.
