Abstract:

The contributions of this book focus on the linguistic representation of
health in current and historical contexts. Various methods and approaches are
applied, with a particular emphasis on conversation analysis, discourse
analysis and lexicology. Research data is taken from various Romance and
Germanic languages and from Old Greek.
