Meeting Description:
This event will look into contemporary approaches in the study of language
processing with the use of functional MRI and related techniques. It will
bring together early career and established researchers and will comprise a
state-of-the-art snapshot in the field, as well help discuss and unveil
potential future directions for research.

Call for Papers:
The Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism (CeLM) and the Centre for
Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINN) at the University of Reading
are now inviting submissions for a day workshop titled: “fMRI and language
processing: State of the art and future directions”.
We invite submissions from researchers working in all fields of mono- and
bilingual language processing with fMRI. Submissions of projects combining
fMRI with other methods used in psycholinguistic research (e.g. ERPs,
eye-tracking) are particularly encouraged. See below for abstract submission
information.
The submission of presentation proposals opens on Friday 15 of September, and
closes on Sunday the 8 of October 2017 at midnight (GMT). The authors will be
notified by the 20 of October.
Types of presentations: Both oral and poster presentations are invited. The
two highest rated abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation, and the
rest will be poster presentations.
Length of abstracts: max. 250 words, excluding references
Length of presentations: 20 min. and 10 min. for discussion
Poster format: Portrait, A1 max.
