Meeting Description:
This conference will provide a forum for academics, teacher trainers, material
developers and students who are interested in the exploration and exchange of
research findings, experience and perspectives in language teaching, language
learning and language skills development. The 3rd LGW Conference will again
be an international platform for the discussion of the importance of
multilingual literacy and multicultural competence in a globalised world.

Call for Papers:
Papers of 20-minute duration and posters are mainly invited in relation to the
following non-exhaustive thematic strands:
1.Bilingual and multilingual education policies and practices; endangered and
minority languages in a globalised world
2.Speech and language therapy, computational and corpus linguistics;
technology, multimedia and resources for language learning and teaching
3.Institution-wide Language Programme (IWLP) provisions
4.Pedagogic, discourse, linguistic, psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic
approaches to text-based research
5.The world Englishes and the pedagogic implications for English Language
Teaching
6.Translation and interpreting in the digital age of the globalised world
