Meeting Description:
LIA ICLC is an international conference aims at language teachers, linguists,
and translators from the field of English Langauge Teaching (ELT), Japanese
Language Teaching, and Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA). The conference
accepts papers on topics that have been listed in conference's website.
LIA Conference consists of two events; International Workshop and Conference.
International Workshops: A series of workshop that will focus on professional
development and its participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Each workshop is going to be directed to a small group of participants (25
participants). To ensure effectiveness of delivery, interested participant can
only register for 1 workshop.
International Conference: Two-day event that will be filled with paper
presentations and plenaries on research in, creative ideas on, and criticism
on language and culture.
Call for Papers:
Language teachers, linguists, and translators are invited to submit papers on:
- ELT, Japanese Language Teaching, Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA)
- Translation studies on Indonesian, English, or Japanese
- Cultural studies in teaching Indonesian, English, and Japanese
LIA ICLC has set a standard format for abstract and author biographical
statement for submission. Use that template to write your abstract and author
biographical statement. Do not change the layout nor the setting of the
template. If you do, the committee will return your abstract and ask you to
revise the abstract using the format that has been set. Abstract template is
available in conference website.
Abstracts can be written in English, Indonesian, or Japanese. Abstract
fulfilling the following criteria will be considered for selection:
- Original
- Innovative
- Informative
- Clear and well-structured
