Meeting Description:
The Science of Aphasia conferences are intended to bring together senior and
junior scientists working in the multidisciplinary field of Neurocognition of
Language and it focuses on both typical and atypical aspects of
neurocognition. The topic of this year's conference is action and interaction.
Participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentation or poster
sessions on the topics of action and interaction, clinical and experimental
work on aphasia and related disorders, neurocognition of language.
The following speakers have accepted to present at the 2018 conference:

Gloria Olness (Univ. Texas)
Luciano Fadiga (Univ. Ferrara)
Roel Jonkers (Univ. Groningen)
Anne-Catherine Bachoud-Lévi (Inserm)
David Caplan (Harvard Medical School)
Greig de Zubicaray (Queensland University of Technology)
Angelika Lingnau (Royal Holloway)
2 workshops will be organized, one on measuring brain activity with EEG in
human interaction and one on conversational interaction
Call for Papers:
Participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentation or poster
sessions on the topics of action and interaction, clinical and experimental
work on aphasia and related disorders, neurocognition of language.

Submission guidelines:
Abstract submissions must be in English. Submissions will be considered both
for oral or poster presentations depending on the quality of the submission.
Abstracts should present innovative and unpublished work, provide a clear
statement of the problem or hypothesis and the basis on which conclusions are
drawn. The text should be written according to the template provided on the
website and not exceed the number of 1,000 words (including headings,
excluding references). One figure/table is allowed. It should be included in
the submitted Word file.
Please note: It is not allowed to have more than one presentation or poster as
first author.
