Description:

WORK LOCATION 1: Onsite in Santa Clara, California; out of state applicants
must be willing and available to relocate to the Bay area for this project.
WORK LOCATION 2: Paris or Cork might be possible as well for Europe based
candidates
WORK LOCATION 3: Tokyo or Yokohama - for Japanese native candidates

START DATE: Immediate 
PROJECT DURATION: 6-8 months 

- B.S/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields or 
- Degree in Computational linguistics 
- Native language: English India, Gulf Arabic, Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Hong
Kong, Danish, Dutch,  French, German, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Malay,
Norwegian,  Swedish, Thai 
- Excellent knowledge of structural aspects of the language (syntax,
semantics, phonology, phonetics) 
- Strong linguistic comprehension 
- Up-to-date exposure to popular native culture and the ability to use that
knowledge to inform data analysis 
- Previous experience working with language data (e.g. research, analysis,
translation, review) 
- NLP experience 
- Proved experience with Java, Perl and shell scripting 
- Experience using OS X or iOS software is a plus 
- Good organizational and analytical skills 
- Excellent English skills, other language skills are a plus 
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to
manage priorities
