The ELL AG invites qualified applicants to apply for a Lecturer or Senior
Lecturer position, specialising in Communication Skills & English for Academic
Purposes.
Requirements:
Applicants should have:
- a relevant doctorate degree from a university of good international
standing,
- an established record of excellent teaching in relevant areas at the
tertiary level,
- experience in designing, teaching, & managing courses in Communication
Skills & English for Academic Purposes,
- a familiarity with ICT application in teaching,
- experience of teaching different profiles of students, e.g. students from
across different disciplines,
- experience of research in relevant areas,
- administrative/leadership experience in coordinating large courses &
teaching teams.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- contribute to teaching & course development at the undergraduate &
postgraduate levels, as well as related activities such as the supervision of
teaching practice,
- engage in research & maintain a publication record,
- undertake administrative &/or leadership roles & to contribute to other
service-related activities at the academic group or institution level.
