Meeting Description:

The Annual Research Forum (ARF) is an event of The Linguistic Society of Hong
Kong, which provides a platform to its members to exchange their latest
research work.


Call for Papers:

LSHK members are cordially invited to attend and to present papers at the 2018
Annual Research Forum (ARF) of The Linguistic Society of Hong Kong, which will
be hosted by Department of Linguistics and Translation, City University of
Hong Kong on December 1st, 2018 (Saturday). As is customary ARF practice,
there will be parallel sessions, and papers related to any area of linguistics
are welcome. Every paper will be allotted 15 or 20 minutes (to be confirmed)
for oral presentation, followed by discussion. Please note that *all*
presenters have to be an LSHK member. You become a member or renew your annual
LSHK membership at www.lshk.org. Members who would like to propose a
theme-based parallel session are welcome to send a proposal (maximum two
pages) to the LSHK Executive Committee, specifying the theme and the format of
the session and target participants. The deadline for proposals is September
30.

Abstract Submission:

Each member is maximally entitled to one single-author presentation plus one
joint presentation. Abstracts can be written in Chinese or English and should
be limited to one A4 page and be saved in the form of DOC/DOCX or PDF format.
Two copies of the abstract should be submitted: one anonymous copy for review
and one that includes (1) the name(s) of author(s), (2) affiliation(s), and
(3) e-mail address(es).
