Meeting Description:

The Third Symposium on Amazonian Languages (SAL 3) will be held at the
University of California, Berkeley on the weekend of March 16-17. The biennial
SAL conference is a venue for Amazonianist scholars to present recent work to
an arealist audience. We welcome talks on any topic on Amazonian linguistics,
including, but not limited to: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax,
semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, historical linguistics, linguistic
anthropology, discourse analysis, and language maintenance and revitalization.


Call for Papers:

We ask those interested in participating to please submit a one-page abstract
for evaluation by January 15, 2018 to Myriam.Lapierre at Berkeley.edu.
