Meeting Description:
The Workshop on the Syntax of Polynesian Languages will take place at the
University of Toronto on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9, 2018, in honour
of Professor Diane Massam on the occasion of her retirement from the
Department of Linguistics. The goal of the workshop is to bring together
linguists working on various aspects of the syntax of Polynesian languages to
share their work.

Call for Papers:
Keynote speakers and invited talks will feature prominently in the program but
we invite abstracts on any topic related to the syntax of Polynesian. Abstract
submissions will be considered for a limited number of talks and a poster
session. The keynote (1-hour talks) and invited speakers (30-min talks) are
listed below.
Please submit a short abstract (maximum one page, single-spaced font 12,
references can be on a separate page), to polynesiansyntax at gmail.com by March
10, 2018. Presenters will be notified by the end of March.
