Description:
The Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester
is seeking to hire a full-time Lecturer starting July 1, 2018. We seek
candidates who are able to teach a variety of courses that support our
undergraduate majors in Brain and Cognitive Science and Neuroscience. We are
especially interested in candidates who have the background and experience to
teach lecture and laboratory courses in some of the following areas: language,
cognition, learning, cognitive development, cognitive neuroscience, and
biology of mental disorders.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic department whose focus is the
study of perception, language, decision-making, learning, cognition, and
development through combined neurobiological, computational, and behavioral
research (http://www.bcs.rochester.edu/); she or he will also be part of a
university–wide neuroscience community engaged in graduate and undergraduate
education.
