Subject: New Journal: Language, Mind, Culture, and Society

 
Dear Fellow Linguists,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appearance of the first issue
of the organ of PTJK/PCLA (Polish Cognitive Linguistics Association), called
LaMiCuS (Language, Mind, Culture, and Society). It is a web-only, open-access
journal, available at www.lamicus.eu

Its publication languages are English and Polish, and a unique feature is that
each article published in either of the two is followed by an extended
summary/synopsis in the other language. This is to ensure that the readers
unfamiliar with the language of the article can nevertheless have reasonable
access to its content, somewhat better than the regular abstract.

Apart from research papers, we publish reviews.

Feel invited to consider submitting your work or suggesting a book for
reviewing.

We would also like to thank everyone involved in the preparation and launching
process, it's been a great ride.
