We are looking for 2 Project Managers specialized in Natural Language Analysis
to join our Data Team in the Lisbon office and consult with Natural Language
Understanding on creating data and setting standards for NLP projects as well
as to manage the work of a team of Associate Linguists to achieve high quality
data output.

This is a great opportunity to focus and see the impact of NLP in a real
business case.

What will you do? What will you be responsible for?

- Growing and scaling Linguistic data creation processes
- Reviewing and Managing annotation of linguistic data projects
- Deriving NLP data for new and ongoing projects
- Hiring, training, managing, and overseeing the work of a team of Associate
Linguists
- Consulting with researchers and engineers on the development of linguistic
databases
- Identifying and assigning required tasks for a project
- Tracking and reporting the team's progress
- Monitoring and controlling the quality of the data annotated by the team
- Providing linguistic/operational guidance and support to the team
- Delivering final output

What are we looking for from you?

- Master’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Machine
Translation or Speech Processing
- Fluent in English, with ideally a good knowledge in at least 2 other
languages
- Experience in translation projects, semantics, syntax, morphology or
lexicography
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts; should have an interest in
natural language processing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Previous project management and people management experience mandatory
Some programming language or previous experience working in a -
- Linux environment is a plus
