Subject: Christopher Brumfit Essay Prize 2018

 
Cambridge University Press and the journal Language Teachng announces the
award of an essay prize which honors one of the founding editors of the
journal. 

Candidates will write a 3000-word essay on one of two topics chosen by the
Board. 

The examiners will reward evidence of critical thinking, scrutiny of arguments
for and against, and original thought.

The prize includes an award of a grant towards books, membership of the
Language Teaching Board, and prioritized publication of the essay in an
upcoming issue of the journal.
