Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Seoul National University invites
applications for a tenure-track position in Linguistics at the Assistant
Professor level, beginning Spring or Fall 2019. The appointment will be made
in the area of either Experimental or Computational Linguistics. The
successful candidate will have productive scholarly research connected with
current issues in core areas in linguistic theory.

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in linguistics or a related field, and be
able to participate in the research, teaching and advising activities of our
department.

Review of applications will begin immediately. Applications received by August
10, 2018 will be given full consideration. The position is open until filled;
no application materials will be accepted after September 10, 2018. Candidates
should send their applications, including a CV and samples of publications or
other written work to the email address listed below. A minimum of three names
of reference are to be included in the cover letter. 

Salary and conditions will conform to Seoul National University regulations.
Appointment procedures will be carried out according to the rules and
regulations of Seoul National University and are subject to the approval of
the University.
