Meeting Description:
4th International Conference of the Linguistic Association of Pakistan (ICLAP
2018) is scheduled to be held from 18-20 October 2018 in collaboration with
the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC). This year’s conference is
being hosted by the Department of English, Fatima Jinnah Women University,
Rawalpindi. Linguistic Research in Multilingual Contexts is the central theme
of this year's conference and the focused subthemes are Multilingualism as a
Tool of Marginalization and/or Empowerment and Multiliteracies for Adopting
New Technologies and Sustaining Linguistic Diversity.
2nd Call for Papers:
Researchers are invited to submit abstracts of original and unpublished
research work in any dimension of theoretical or applied linguistics by
Sunday, 30 June 2018 via Easy Chair
(https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iclap2018). Abstracts should be in
English with a prescribed word limit between 300 to 500 words excluding title,
keywords and references. Guidelines for Abstracts are provided on the website
and are to be strictly followed.
In case of failure to submit via the online submission system, abstracts may
be submitted via email to iclap2018 at gmail.com. The subject of the email should
read Abstract for ICLAP 2018-Author/s’ name/s.
