Description:
The Department of Linguistics at Georgetown University invites applications
for a one-year Assistant Teaching Professor position in Syntax for the
2018/2019 academic year.
The responsibilities of the position include teaching a 3-3 load, with courses
at both the graduate and undergraduate level. The successful candidate will be
able to teach introductory courses in syntax, as well as advanced courses in
their area of specialization. Applicants with additional research interests in
semantics, psycholinguistics, or L1 acquisition are especially encouraged to
apply. Applicants must have completed all requirements for the PhD degree by
August 1, 2018.
