Meeting Description:

International Terminology: Translation and Standardization 

The conference aims to bring the leading academic scientists, research
institutions, language practitioners, translators, interpreters, broadcasters,
government agencies  and NGOs to exchange and share their experience and 
achievements in the sphere of translation and standardization of the
international terminology in different fields: legal terminology,
international law, medicine, human rights, civil society, education, sport and
so on.  

International Conference, organized by the Giorgi Akhvlediani Society for the
History of Linguistics and Ivane  Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will
be held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, 
5-7 October, 2018.

Conference Fee: € 130
 
The Organizing Committee cannot financially support the conference
participants. All fees and expenses must be met by the participants and/or
their organizations.

2nd Call for Papers:

Proposals for papers should be submitted in the form of abstracts of 400 words
as Word doc, accompanied by the affiliation, email address and 150 words bio
of the participant and mailed to: gashol.ge at gmail.com 

The official languages of the conference are English and Georgian.

Important Dates: 

Deadline for submission of Abstracts: July 10 2018 
The conference editorial board will select the papers to be presented at the
conference. 
Final selection will be made by August 15, 2018; 
Notification of Acceptance: August 15, 2018 
Program Announcement: August 20, 2018
