Description:
The University of Brighton, UK, is looking for temporary cover (semester 1
only for the moment - Sept. 2018 till end of Jan. 2019) for first year
Undergraduate teaching mainly in the area of Language Acquisition. This
fixed-term position is ideal for a candidate/lecturer with a degree/PhD in
linguistics and research focus on language acquisition and/or
bilingualism/multilingualism. We are particularly interested in representing
usage-based approaches and corpus-based research. There may also be
opportunities to teach some sessions, and assess, an Undergraduate year two
module on Mind and Language.
As this is a fixed-term cover (hours are part-time), candidates need to be
based in the UK, and be within a reasonable travelling distance to Brighton,
East Sussex, UK.
