Meeting Description:
The conference aims to bring together scholars with the purpose of discussing
current empirical and theroretical issues in linguistics, not only on but
beyond English linguistics.
The following topics will be especially paid attention to but not
exhaustively:
- Periphery
- Categories
- Gradualness
- Discourse markers
- Dialogic contexts and language change
We are delighted to announce that the following have agreed to give plenary
presentations:
Peter Auer (Freiburg Institute of Advanced Studies)
Bernd Heine (University of Cologne)
Reijirou Shibasaki (Meiji University, Tokyo)
Richard Waltereit (Humboldt University Berlin)
2nd Call for Papers:
Time for Papers: 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions.
Conference Languages: English and French
Submission Procedure:
Abstracts should be anonymous and no more than one side of A4, including
references. They should be sent to the following address in PDF format:

Please include the following information in the main body of your email: title
and name of author(s); affiliation; email address for correspondence;
presentation title; 3-5 keywords.
Submission Deadline: September 1, 2018
Notification of acceptance will be sent to the authors by the end of September
2018.
