Description:
The Department of Linguistics at Yale University invites applications for a
one year (non-renewable) lecturer position for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The appointee will teach two courses each semester, advise student research,
and be fully involved in the intellectual life of the department. We are
particularly interested in candidates who can offer graduate and undergraduate
courses in semantics and syntax, and participate in on-going work in these
areas, including candidates with a multi-methodological approach.
Applicants should submit the following items:
- a cover letter describing research interests,
- a current CV,
- evidence regarding teaching qualifications,
- two representative pieces of research,
- and the names of two references.
Review of applications will begin immediately, and will continue until the
position is filled. The requirements for the PhD must be completed by the time
of appointment.
