linguistics, translation studies and NLP. All theoretical approaches are
welcome.

We invite proposals, in English or French, related to the conference theme:
phraseologized expressions as a challenge for linguistic theory, translation,
NLP and language teaching; lexical, syntactic and morphological phrasemes from
both synchronic and diachronic viewpoints, in intra- and inter-
linguistic/cultural perspectives. Papers are also invited for general sessions
on any aspect of theoretical and applied linguistics as well as translation
studies. Graduate students are especially encouraged to submit. 

Papers are 30 minutes in length (20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes
for discussion). Anonymous abstracts should be no more than 300 words in
length, excluding title and references. On a separate page, please list your
paper title, name, affiliation (indicate if you are a student), your current
electronic address, and any audiovisual equipment needed for your
presentation. 

Proceedings of the conference will be made available as an open access
publication. A volume featuring a selection of presented papers is foreseen as
well.

Deadline for abstract submissions: August 01, 2018
Notification of acceptance/rejection: September 01, 2018.

Thème du colloque: La phraséologie dans tous ses états
Conférenciers invités : Gaétane Dostie, Université de Sherbrooke; David Beck,
University of Alberta 

Nous invitons des propositions de communication, en français ou en anglais,
portant sur le thème du colloque: défis que les expressions phraséologisées
posent pour la linguistique théorique, la traduction, le traitement
automatique et l’enseignement des langues; phrasèmes lexicaux, syntaxiques et
morphologiques en synchronie et en diachronie, dans la perspective intra- et
inter- linguistique/culturelle. Sont bienvenues également des communications
traitant de n’importe quel autre domaine de linguistique théorique et
appliquée et de traductologie. Les étudiants des cycles supérieurs sont
particulièrement encouragés à soumettre des propositions. 

La durée des communications est de 30 minutes : 20 minutes de présentation et
10 minutes pour la période de discussion.  Les résumés anonymes ne doivent pas
dépasser 300 mots, excluant le titre et les références. Sur une page séparée,
veuillez indiquer le titre de votre proposition, votre nom et votre
affiliation (s'il y a lieu, mentionnez le fait que vous êtes étudiant), votre

Les actes du colloque seront disponibles en libre accès. La publication
