Meeting Description:

The ninth meeting of Formal Approaches to South Asian Languages (FASAL9) will
be held at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. The conference takes place over
two days, with invited talks, submitted talks, and posters. Abstracts are
invited for talks and posters on any aspect(s) of the phonology, morphology,
syntax, semantics, phonetics, or processing of South Asian languages.

Invited speakers:

- Rajesh Bhatt (University of Massachusetts)
- Mythili Menon (Wichita State University)
- Savithry Namboodiripad (University of Michigan)


Call for Papers:

Abstracts, including references and data, should be limited to two
single-spaced pages (A4 or US Letter) with 1-inch (2.5cm) margins and a
minimum font size of 11pt. One person can submit at most one abstract as sole
author and one abstract as co-author.
