Abstract:

The Handbook of Translation and Cognition is a pioneering investigation of
cognitive approaches to translation and interpreting studies (TIS). It offers
timely and cutting-edge coverage of the most important theoretical frameworks

contributions from a global group of leading researchers, who represent
institutions and research centers from 18 countries around the world.
In addition to key theory and experimental approaches, the articles explore a

cognitive effort, and competence, training, and interpreting such as
