Description:
NTNU is announcing a position as PhD fellow in English linguistics and
multilingualism at the Department of Teacher Education.
The successful candidate will be employed on the project Acquisition of
English in the multilingual classroom funded by the Research Council of
Norway.
The post is a fixed-term position from 1 July 2019 for three years.
The PhD fellow will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Collect and analyze data that consist of observations and recordings of
classroom interaction between students and teacher, interviews with students
and teachers, and students’ written texts;
- Present project results at conferences and co-author reports and
publications.
The successful candidate is expected to join the existing research project and
network and contribute to its development.
The PhD fellow’s academic work is to result in a doctoral dissertation that
will be defended at the Faculty with a view to obtaining the degree of PhD.
