Backchat is a software package aimed at assisting the user in creating and
distributing audio feedback to students in a way that is easy, fast and
effective. 
 
The software is currently in beta version and can be downloaded for free at

Backchat allows the user to create a set of generic, pre-recorded audio
comments for repetitive errors, and then to merge those generic comments with
individual comments into one seamless audio file, meaning your student can get
much more feedback than when you mark in traditional manners. A marking rubric
can also be included. Distribution of the audio and marking rubric is quick
and easy with a bulk upload to the LMS Drop Box. 

Backchat is distributed under the Creative Commons License.
