Meeting Description:
The 45th Incontro di Grammatica Generativa, IGG45, will take place on February
21-23, 2019 at the Università degli Studi di Padova.
As in any past editions of IGG, we welcome abstracts on any topic and from any
field of generative grammar (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics,
language acquisition, psycholinguistics) with a theoretical and/or
experimental setting.

TEAM goes to IGG45
This year, the main IGG event will be preceded by the Theoretical and
Empirical Approaches to Microvariation workshop, to be held on February, 21
2019.
TEAM aims to connect scholars working on Microvariation in different
linguistic domains combining empirical and theoretical perspectives. Thus, we
invite papers from all linguistic families provided they formally analyze
minimally homogeneous linguistic areas.

'Marica de Vincenzi' Award
As in previous editions of IGG, the Fondazione Marica De Vincenzi ONLUS will
offer an award of € 500 to the best paper selected and presented at the IGG45
by an Italian researcher without a tenure-track position.
Eligible candidates must be of Italian nationality (but can reside anywhere),
and must be first authors of a paper accepted and presented at IGG45.
All interested parties meeting the requirements are requested to specify their
intention to compete for the award) by sending an email to the conference
address by 1 February 2019 providing an additional text describing their
research (maximum 2 pages, same format as for the IGG abstract).
Important dates:
Deadline for the submission of abstracts: December 1, 2018
Notification of acceptance: No later than January 21, 2019
Conference: February 21-23, 2019
Call for Papers:
Abstracts for both the General Session and the Workshop should be submitted in
PDF format via EasyChair:

Abstracts should not exceed two pages in length, 12-point type, Times New
Roman, single line spacing, 2.5cm (1 inch) margins) including examples and
tables.
Submissions must be anonymous and are limited for the whole conference
including the workshop to a maximum of one individual and one joint abstract
per author or two joint abstracts per author.
Please indicate whether your abstract should be considered for the Main
Session or for the Workshop. Please indicate also if your submission should be
considered for presentation, poster or both.
The official language of the conference will be English.
