Description:
The Institute of Linguistics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities,
invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, specializing in
phonology, syntax or semantics. Special consideration will be given to
candidates whose research and scholarly interests complement and connect with
those of our current faculty. Applicants whose research engages in the
interface between subfields or who have a secondary specialization in
fieldwork or experimental/computational methodologies are particularly
encouraged.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in research and
teaching.
The appointment is expected to begin August 26, 2019. Qualified applicants
should have a Ph.D. in Linguistics by time of appointment.

teaching statements, two representative writing samples, evidence of teaching
ability, and names of three recommenders to the application link provided
