Focus: The main focus of the Summer School is in applied knowledge about experimental methodologies to study voice, speech, language and behaviour, following a hands-on approach.

Description:
This is the fifth edition of STEM (Summer Training in Experimental Methods), a
week long training program in current methods in experimental linguistics,
phonetics and psycholinguistics, organized by the Phonetics and Phonology
Laboratory and Lisbon Baby Lab.
The Summer School is directed at undergraduate and graduate students,
researchers interested in voice, speech, language and language related areas
(including language development and language impairments), as well as
professionals (educators, teachers, psychologists, audiologists, speech
therapists, among others).
The School takes a hands-on training approach and covers the following
topics/methods:
- Praat and acoustic analysis
- ELAN and audiovisual annotation
- Eye-tracking
- Electroencephalography and event related potentials
- Tools for the study of perception

Psycholinguistics
Tuition Explanation: Tuition fees include attendance, all course materials, lunch, tea/coffee,
