Subject: The Relation of Speaking Proficiency with its Elements
In order to find the relation between speaking proficiency and its elements,
would it be good to compare the IELTS (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_English_Language_Testing_System )
overall band score acquired by an individual with the individual section band
scores? Overall band scores represent general speaking proficiency and
individual section scores represent proficiency in certain elements of
speaking i.e fluency, pronunciation, grammar and lexical resource.
Thanks,
