Meeting Description:
This conference aims at joining together researchers and teachers from
different fields of language education and linguistics that address topics
related to foreign language learning.
The working languages of the Conference are English, French, Portuguese and
Spanish, with specific panels for each one of them.
2nd Call for Papers:
We welcome abstracts for individual papers in parallel sessions.
Individual papers will be assigned 30 minutes: 20 minutes for the presentation
and 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
Abstracts for individual papers can be sent in English, French, Portuguese or
Spanish. The abstract (max. 300 words, including examples and excluding title
and references, in Times New Roman, 12 pt.) should be submitted by e-mail
(icfll2020 at letras.ulisboa.pt) no later than December 15, 2019.
An individual may appear as first author only once on the programme, in
addition to co-author of another paper.
All abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by the scientific committee.
Notifications of acceptance/rejection will be sent before January 31, 2020.

- Translanguaging
- Multilingual learning
- Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)
- Learner identities
- Cross-cultural communication
- Intercultural communicative competence
- Individual differences (motivation, attitude, learning strategies...)
- E-learning and b-learning
- MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses)
- New classrooms
- Out-of-class learning
