Description:
The research group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona on
Compositionality of meaning. Theoretical and empirical perspectives and on The
Interpretation of Functional Categories invites applications for a two-year
postdoctoral fellowship of the “Beatriu de Pinos” program, funded by the
Catalan Government. This is an extremely competitive program, so only
candidates with an outstanding research profile will be considered.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to present a detailed project for the
two-year period which integrates into any of above mentioned funded project
grants on semantics awarded to the Centre de Lingüística Teòrica, where (s)he
will be hosted (http://filcat.uab.cat/clt/).
Applicants must hold a PhD in linguistics between January 1, 2012 and December
31, 2017, and must prove a two year postdoctoral experience in a university or
research center outside Spain.

Xavier.Villalba at uab.cat by January 7, 2020 a .pdf file containing the
following items (in the order listed): a cover letter with a brief expression
of interest specifying the project to be developed in the next two years, and
a curriculum vitae. Please include “postdoc fellowship” in the email subject
line.
Preselected candidates will be requested to provide a detailed work-plan for
the two-year period and to fill up the application form available on line
before February 3, 2020 at 2pm (Barcelona local time).
