Translation and Culture in English for Specific Purposes

We invite papers on theoretical and case studies examination of the presence
and relevance of translation within courses of English for Specific and
English for Academic Purposes, and the methodology of its practice.

The volume is primarily concerned with the salient facets of translation and
interpretations studies encompassing the following topics:
- Grammatical equivalence
- Circumnavigating non-equivalence
- Coming to terms with culture-related communicative obstacles
- Idioms, proverbs, fixed expressions and diglossia - demarcated lexical
versions, variegations and subtle variance
