Recently John Benjamins announced that Associate editor Holger Hopp
(University of Braunschweig) would succeed Jason Rothman (University of
Reading, UiT the Artic University of Norway & Facultad de Lenguas y Educación,
Universidad Nebrija, Madrid, Spain)as Editor of the journal Linguistic
Approaches to Bilingualism (LAB) as of 2019. This message proved incorrect.
Holger Hopp will indeed join as editor of LAB, but Jason Rothman will say
goodbye as editor only by the end of this year. Till that time he will remain
as editor together with Holger Hopp and Tanja Kupish (University of Konstanz).
We apologize for this communication mishap. 

LAB is an international peer-reviewed journal which provides an outlet for
cutting-edge studies on bilingualism. LAB assumes a broad definition of
bilingualism, including work on: adult L2 acquisition/processing, simultaneous
child bilingualism, child L2 acquisition/processing, adult and child heritage
language bilingualism, L1 attrition in L2/Ln environments, and adult/child
L3/Ln acquisition/processing. LAB publishes original research assuming any
cognitive science approach to the understanding of bilingual language
acquisition and processing and the effects bilingualism has on cognition and
the brain.

LAB publishes its articles Online First.
