Subject: Master's of Professional Ed Program in French

 
A new Canadian 2-year Master's of Professional Education Program is being
offered fully online by the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of
Education and Department of French Studies. It features the following courses:
Life-Long French Skills; the CEFR; Critical Language Awareness; Language &
Grammar; SLA Related to French Teaching & Learning, Developing and Sustaining
French in Minority French Contexts, and a Virtual Practicum-cum-Final Project.

The MPEd in the Field of French also features community engaged learning
through ties to minority French communities, a platform that supports the
development of participants' productive and passive French skills, and the
mentoring of novice teachers by more experienced French teachers seeking PD
related to pedagogical and/or French language development. The program focuses
on learner agency, autonomy and sustainable strategies for lifelong French
learning and maintenance.
