Focus: The Yerevan Academy for Linguistics and Philosophy (YALP) is an intensive summer program in linguistics and philosophy that is sponsored by the organizers, who are donating their time and energy. YALP 2019 will bring together 50 undergraduate and graduate students from Armenia and other countries in the region (all students are welcome to apply; we have had many students from all contents). Advanced high school students will be considered. All courses taught in English.
Description:
The purpose of the academy is to provide an opportunity for students to
develop their knowledge and skills, possibly with a view toward applying to
doctoral programs in philosophy or linguistics (including programs in the USA

Tuition Explanation: There will be no tuition or fees for students participating in The Yerevan
Academy for Linguistics and Philosophy. We are currently trying to raise money
to help defray housing costs for students, but at the moment students should
plan their budgets on the assumption that they will be responsible for the
cost of their own housing while participating in YALP.
