Meeting Description:

The International Symposium on Interfaces in Generative Linguistics

South China Normal University is to host an international symposium on
Interfaces in Generative Linguistics in Guangzhou, P. R. China, on November
23–24, 2019. It will serve as an occasion for academic communication and
welcome the participation of domestic and foreign researchers in the field of
generative linguistics. 

Interfaces in Generative Linguistics is chosen as the theme of the symposium,
but all research fruits in the related areas of generative linguistics such as
phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, language acquisition research and
language impairment research are welcome to the symposium. The general purpose
of the event is to focus the research on language interfaces and advocate
integrated linguistic inquiries.


Call for Papers:

1. Language for the abstract:English or Chinese

2. Requirements for the abstract: The conference welcomes original papers that
have not been published. The abstract should have a length of 300–500 words.
For its format, please email to the contact person for a template of “Abstract
for The International Symposium on Interfaces in Generative Linguistics” and
provide the full information of the author(s) there.  

3. Please send your abstract to scnusfs at m.scnu.edu.cn before August 31, 2019.
The subject line of the email message should be “Generative Linguistics
Symposium Abstract + author name”. 

4. All the abstracts will undergo a blind peer-review process and will be
assessed according to relevance and quality. The notification of acceptance
will be given before September 15, 2019 and earlier for foreign participants.
