Meeting Description:

The Journée de Linguistique Berbère 2019 (JLB 2019) will take place on
December 6-7, 2019 in Nantes (France). The conference is devoted to the
presentation and discussion of original research in Berber linguistics
(phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics).


Call for papers:

The Journée de Linguistique Berbère 2019 (JLB 2019) will take place on
December 6-7, 2019 in Nantes (France). The conference is devoted to the
presentation and discussion of original research in Berber linguistics
(phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics).

Our invited speakers are Maarten Kossmann (Leiden University), Amina Mettouchi
(EPHE & LLACAN UMR8135, Paris) and Lameen Souag (LACITO UMR7107, Paris).

We invite submissions of abstracts for 20-minute oral presentations, followed
by 10 minutes of discussion on topics pertaining to Berber linguistics
(phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics).

Abstracts should be anonymous and must not exceed two pages (including
examples, figures and references). Submissions are limited to one individual
and one joint abstract per author.

Abstracts should be sent to the following address: jlb.nantes at gmail.com.
Please include the following information in the body of your email: first and
last name of the author (or authors), email address, affiliation and abstract
title.

Submission deadline: September 5, 2019
Notification of acceptance: October 5, 2019
Conference dates: December 6-7, 2019

The languages of the conference are French and English.
