Meeting Description:
Fonologi i Norden (FiNo) is intended as a relatively informal platform for
phonologists in the Nordic countries (including, but not limited to Denmark,
Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden), and
phonologists from elsewhere who are interested in Nordic topics, broadly
understood. Previous meetings were held in Gothenburg (2016), Kristiansand
(2017), Lund (2018), and Edinburgh (2019).
Call for Papers:
We are delighted to announce that the fifth FiNo Meeting will be hosted by the
Department of Languages and Literature Studies at the University of
South-Eastern Norway, campus Drammen, 21-22 February, 2020.
We invite submissions on any topic in phonology (including work in progress).
Abstracts related to Nordic phonology are particularly encouraged. Please
e-mail your abstract in PDF format to fonologi.i.norden at gmail.com. The
abstract should not exceed one A4 page, with 2.45 cm margins, 12 point font,
single line spacing. Please indicate in the file or email if you would prefer
to give a talk or present a poster.
Important Dates:
Submission deadline for abstracts: 18 November, 2019
Notification: 16 December, 2019
Meeting: 21-22 February, 2020
