Description:

The Department of Foreign Languages at Towson University invites applications
for a tenure-track 10-month position at the Assistant Professor level
beginning August 2020.

PhD in French at time of appointment and native or near-native fluency in
French is required. 

Evidence of excellence in teaching and demonstrated potential for successful
scholarly activity. Teach all levels of French from elementary to advanced.
Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in linguistics,
with the ability to teach courses in phonetics, the history of the French
language, and advanced grammar. Experience in service learning or working with
francophone communities a plus. CLA-3320
