Baylor seeks to fill the following tenure-track position within the College of
Arts and Sciences:

Assistant Professor of Spanish

Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in the field of Hispanic
Linguistics. You will be asked to provide a letter of interest addressed to
Dr. Linda McManness; curriculum vitae; official transcripts showing highest
degree conferred (if ABD, also submit official transcript of completed Ph.D.
hours), a faith statement, and three confidential letters of recommendation in
the application process. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
a research and teaching agenda appropriate for an R1 institution and will be
encouraged to seek external funding (which could include fellowships, grants,
and other forms of external funding). Native or near native proficiency in
Spanish and English. Salary is commensurate with experience and
qualifications.
