Description:
Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (TAL) is seeking a full time Research
Laboratory Manager to maintain and manage its three research laboratories (in
psycholinguistics, phonetics, and computational linguistics), and to train
researchers and students in the use of equipment for Linguistic experiments
and data analysis, such as EEG, eye-tracking, electropalatography,
electroglottography, audio and video recording, etc.
This is an exciting, newly created post and the role holder will work closely
with academic staff in TAL, IT and Administrative staff across the Faculty.
who has e.g. skills in EEG and is looking to develop further technical skills
in a lab environment.
The role holder will provide management of the research laboratories and
specialist technical support to staff and students to enable the successful
operation of research projects and research-related teaching.
