Subject: What Makes a Speaker seem Competent (on the example of news reporters)

 
In the context of my bachelor thesis I want to figure out how listeners
perceive certain characteristics of the speechstyle of news reporters and
which characteristics define a competent speechstyle.

have to reach as many native English speakers as possible.
