Given the phenomenal breadth of language change and development during 2020,
Oxford Languages concluded that this is a year which cannot be neatly
accommodated in one single word.
Join Casper Grathwohl – Oxford Languages President, Fiona McPherson – OED
Editor, Kate Wild – Executive Editor, Strategic Lexical Projects, and
Katherine Martin – Head of Product for Oxford Languages, for a live
interactive online session where they will present an overview of our corpus
analysis-based approach to monitoring language, and this year’s particular
challenges of keeping track of language developments.
This online talk will be recorded and will be made available for viewing after
the live session. All registrants will be notified.
