undergraduate linguists from across the continents to present high quality,
original research to their peers in order to gain experience and a greater
appreciation for the many ways to study linguistics and language-related
fields.
Additionally, qUALMS is pleased to announce the continuation of our workshop
series for GLEEFUL. These workshops are aimed at undergraduates looking to
improve their skill set by exposing them to current techniques and ways to
approach linguistic problems.

Call for Papers:
We invite 1 page abstracts (500 words) for 10-15 minute presentations or
posters. Submissions can be made at https://easychair.org/cfp/GLEEFUL10.
qUALMS is looking for original, undergraduate research to be presented at
GLEEFUL. While summaries of other research are great, such summaries are not
appropriate for presentation at this particular conference. Furthermore,
submissions can be related to any formal or experimental issue within the
language sciences. That is, we solicit submissions of original research within
the academic discipline of linguistics, construed broadly.
Presenters are welcome to be authors on up to two abstracts; however, it is
likely that authors will only be granted presentation slots if there are drops
or if there is time available for more presentations based on other
submissions. Furthermore, authors will be limited to one paper presentation.
