Focus: ROLANG School organizes between the 27th of July - 7th of August 2020 the 10th-anniversary edition of the summer school on Romanian language and culture in the city of Sibiu.
The program includes morning activities (30 hours of class courses) and afternoon activities (2 hours of Q&A, 4 hours of conversation lessons, museum visits, film screenings, guided tour of Sibiu city center, the tour of communism, social parties, optional trip to the Village Museum in Sibiu).
Minimum Education Level: No Minimum

Special Qualifications:
The teaching programs are suitable for students of all ages as well as for different language skills requirements: beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Participants must be at least 18 years old to enroll in our language programs.

Description:
Morning activities: Language courses

The morning language program includes 30 hours of Romanian language for
beginner, intermediate and advanced level.
Students will be divided into 4 groups (A1, A2, B1, B2), according to their
level of Romanian.
With an assessment test sent via e-mail, each student will be evaluated and
placed in the correct group.

Class course schedule: 3 hours/day, from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to
12:30 pm

Afternoon activities

- 1 Q&A session: 2 hours, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

- 2 conversation sessions: once a week, 2 hours/session, 4 hours in total,
from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

- guided tour of Sibiu city center (English speaking guide): on Monday, the
27th of July, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

- the tour of communism of Sibiu (English speaking guide): on Monday, the 3rd
of August, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

- 1 museum visit (English speaking guide): from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm

- 2 film screenings: from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm

- 2 social parties: on Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm

The instructors are Ph.D. holders, authors of Romanian manuals for foreigners
and the University of Bucharest teachers.

At the end of the course, the students will have a test and will receive a
certificate proving their level of Romanian.

Tuition Explanation: There are two types of fees, according to the package you would like to book:

1) Basic package: 295 euro: morning activities, Q&A session, conversation
lessons, & social parties

The package includes: 30 hours of class courses, 1 Q & A session, 2
conversation lessons, final test, language certificate, social parties.

Class course schedule: from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 to 12:30 o'clock
Afternoon activities: 1 Q & A session, 2 conversation lessons: from 2:30 pm to
4:30 pm
Social parties: on Wednesdays  (July 29th and August 5th), from 19:00 to 21:30
o'clock

2) Full package: 345 euros: morning & afternoon activities, social parties

Morning activities: 30 hours of class courses, final test, language
certificate

Afternoon activities: 1 Q& A session, 2 conversation lessons, museum visits,
film screenings, city center guided tour, the tour of communism

Social parties: on Wednesdays  (July 29th and August 5th), from 19:00 to 21:30
