Meeting Description:
The Young Researchers Group of CLUNL is pleased to announce that the call for
papers for XIV Forum for Linguistic Sharing is already opened. The Forum will
take place on 3 of July 2020, at Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas,
Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (Lisbon, Portugal).
XV Forum for Linguistic Sharing is integrated into 7th edition of NOVA- Lisbon
Summer School in Linguistics and it aims to give the opportunity to young
researchers to present and discuss their work on any area of linguistcs in a
relaxed and intellectually stimulating environment.
Call for Papers:
We invite postgraduate (Masters and PhD) students to submit abstracts for oral
presentation on any area of linguistics, including:
educational linguistics
historical linguistics
language acquisition
lexicography and lexicology
morphology
phonology
pragmatics
psycholinguistics
semantics
syntax
sociolinguistics
terminology
text linguistics.
The abstracts should be submitted on EasyChair
(https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=xv-fpl2020) until 16 February 2020.
Accepted papers will be allotted 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes
for discussion.
We only accept submissions from young researchers who does not have the PhD
degree yet.
Each author may submit at most one abstract of a maximum of 500 words.
References should only be in the submitted pdf format. The abstracts can be
written in Portuguese or English and you should choose the area/s where they
are inserted. Please use the online registration form to submit your abstract
(https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=xv-fpl2020).
Important Dates:
Deadline for submission of abstracts: 16 February 2020.
Notification of acceptance/rejection: 17 April 2020.
We expect to publish the proceedings of the conference in the online Journal
NOVAling.
