Meeting Description:
The CGG is an annual conference that has been held in Spain, Portugal, and
France since 1991. In this conference, linguists from all over the world
discuss the latest proposals on the syntax, semantics and phonology of natural
languages within the generative framework. The 30th Colloquium on Generative
Grammar (CGG) will be held at the Universidad de Oviedo (Asturias, Spain), on
May 13–15, 2020, as an initiative of the DALiV group (Development, Acquisition
and Mechanisms of Linguistic Variation).
Keynote Speakers:
Barbara Höhle (Universität Potsdam)
Francisco Ordóñez (Stony Brooks University)
2nd Call for Papers:
Linguists working in any theoretical framework of Generative Grammar are
invited to participate. Each paper presentation will be allotted 30 minutes
plus 10 minutes for discussion.
A limited number of abstracts will also be accepted for one poster session.
Authors are asked to submit their abstracts in an anonymous PDF file to the
following site:

Please add 5 keywords. If you do not have an EasyChair account, please follow
the instructions provided by the platform and create one.
Abstracts should be no longer than two pages in length (including examples and
references), in a 12pt font, single line spacing and 2,5 cm margins.
Submissions are limited to a maximum of one individual and one joint abstract
per author.
Abstracth Submission is open until January 26, 2020
