Meeting Description: 

The Sixth International Conference on Linguistics and Language Studies (ICLLS
2020) aims to provide a platform for scholars around the globe to exchange
research ideas and results, share good professional practices, and explore
collaboration in the fields of language, linguistics, and translation studies.

ICLLS 2020 is organised by the Chartered Institute of Linguists Hong Kong
Society, and co-organised by the College of Arts, Tunghai University; the
School of Education and Languages, the Open University of Hong Kong; the
School of General Education and Languages, Technological and Higher Education
Institute of Hong Kong and School of Humanities and Languages, the Caritas
Institute of Higher Education; and Division of Languages and General Studies,
Hong Kong College of Technology.
 

Call for Papers:

Dear Academic/Researcher,

The Sixth International Conference on Linguistics and Language Studies (ICLLS
2020), organised by the CIOL Hong Kong Society*, will be held in Taichung,
Taiwan, on 19–20 June 2020. You are invited to attend and present a paper.

The conference aims to serve as an academic forum for scholars around the
globe to exchange research ideas and results, share good professional
practices, and explore collaboration in the fields of language, linguistics,
and translation studies.

The abstract submission deadline is 12 March 2020. Full paper submission is
optional. Papers submitted may compete for the Best Paper Award and Excellent
Paper Awards. Papers from students may compete for the Best Student Paper
Award.

Full papers submitted by the deadline will also be included in the electronic
Conference Proceedings with an ISBN (978-988-77932-3-6).

At the conference, keynote speeches will be delivered by:
- Dr Boping YUAN, University of Cambridge
- Professor Doris Chun-Yin CHEN, National Taiwan Normal University
